Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to relocate the Office of Information Technology (OIT) from the 6th floor to Building 21 at the Colmery O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas. The project includes a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The contractor will be responsible for completing the project within 330 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The project is subject to the Buy American Act, Davis-Bacon Act, and Service Contract Act.
• The contractor must provide a breakdown of labor and material costs by applicable division for each bid item.
• The contractor must provide an adequate Contractor Safety Plan.
• The contractor must maintain insurance coverage during the contract period.
• Progress payments will be made no later than 14 days after receipt of an acceptable invoice.
• The contractor must provide a Schedule of Values, a Construction Schedule, and a list of project staff with their roles and contact information.
