Description
Tennessee Tech University is seeking an “as‑needed” mechanical services contractor to provide hourly labor for a variety of campus facilities, including mechanical rooms, steam plant, and other building systems. The work includes preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, testing, repairs, sheet‑metal duct installation/repair, HVAC service, and pipe service. Contractors must submit hourly labor rates for multiple classifications, include tools and overhead in rates, and meet insurance, registration, and experience requirements. The contract will be a five‑year, non‑exclusive agreement with a one‑year firm‑price period and possible annual adjustments.
• Provide hourly mechanical labor (skilled and unskilled) for duct, HVAC, and pipe services.
• Submit detailed labor rate tables (normal and overtime) for each classification.
• Must be a registered Tennessee Tech supplier, carry required liability insurance, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience with three references per service type.
• Contract term: 5 years, award 15 Sep 2026, with work beginning 17 Sep 2026.
