REQUEST FOR INFORMATION RFI CW001-26

The Federal Prison Industries (FPI) is seeking information from potential suppliers for the provision of fabricated metal products, specifically K-9 cages and inmate transport inserts, for a three-year agreement. The products will be used to upfit vehicles for sale to the Federal Government. The FPI is looking to expand its vendor list to include more domestic small businesses and increase market awareness and participation from capable suppliers. • The RFI is seeking information on the availability of the products from domestic sources, the vendor's registration as a small business, and general market information such as lead times and ordering quantities. • The FPI is comprised of seven business sectors, including Agribusiness, Electronics, and Fleet Services, and provides products and services to multiple Federal Government agencies. • The RFI is open to all interested parties, and responses should be submitted electronically to the specified email addresses. • The FPI is looking to collaborate with industry partners to structure a future Request for Proposal (RFP) that will ensure greater market awareness and participation from relevant and capable suppliers.
