Description
The City of Charlotte’s Aviation‑Construction division is seeking qualified contractors to re‑roof the main terminal and Concourse D at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and to replace existing air‑handling units. The work includes demolition of the existing roof membrane, removal of abandoned mechanical equipment and supporting structures, installation of new roofing systems, and installation of new HVAC air‑handling units. The contract will be awarded on a bid basis and will require the successful bidder to provide bid, payment, and performance bonds, as well as the usual insurance coverage for construction projects. The anticipated total project value is between $5 million and $10 million, with an expected duration of 1‑2 years.
