Description
The U.S. Army is seeking sources for a Roman Catholic Priest to provide comprehensive Catholic coverage supporting religious services, ministrations, rites, sacraments, and on-call coverage at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) in Fort Gordon, Georgia. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Roman Catholic Priest services. The period of performance shall be for one base year and four option years, with a total duration of five years. The contractor shall provide a qualified Roman Catholic Priest to perform the required services, including conducting daily and Sunday masses, ministrations, general ward patient visits, and pastoral counseling. The contractor shall also provide on-call coverage 24/7, 365 days a year, including Federal and installation training holidays. Some key responsibilities include:
• Conducting daily and Sunday masses and ministrations
• Providing general ward patient visits and pastoral counseling
• Providing on-call coverage 24/7, 365 days a year
• Documenting pastoral care offered to patients and family members
• Maintaining training in the hospital and attending required meetings
• Facilitating individual and group pastoral counseling sessions and pastoral visits
• Instructing in areas of stress, suicide prevention, parenting skills, communication skills, and death and dying
