Supervised Visitation Services

The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) is seeking qualified applicants to provide Supervised Visitation Services in accordance with the specifications contained in this Open Enrollment. The selected Contractor will provide supervised visitation services to DFPS clients, including preparation for supervised visits, pre-visitation activities, monitoring the visit, documenting the visit, and providing court-related services. The Contractor must meet the minimum qualifications, including business service management experience, financial experience, and personnel minimum qualifications. The Contract term will begin no sooner than April 1, 2023, and will end on March 31, 2028. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing supervised visitation services to DFPS clients • Preparing for supervised visits, including confirming the visitation schedule and ensuring the visitation site is safe and non-threatening • Monitoring the visit and documenting observations of the parent's or caregiver's interactions with the child(ren) • Providing court-related services, including preparation and testimony • Maintaining personnel files, including documentation of personnel minimum qualifications and background checks • Ensuring compliance with DFPS insurance requirements and submitting required verification of insurance/bond coverage
