Hazardous Waste Management and Emergency Response Services

The City of Pasadena Water and Power Department is seeking professional services from qualified firms to manage hazardous and non-hazardous regulated wastes and provide spill cleanup and emergency response services. The initial term of the contract is for five years, with two optional one-year extension periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing a "Turn-Key" service on an as-needed basis, including all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and associated documentation. The contractor must possess and provide the necessary licenses or certifications, including "A – General Engineering" and "HAZ – Hazardous Substance Removal Certification". • The contractor will be responsible for managing hazardous and non-hazardous regulated wastes, including used/unused/expired chemicals, empty oil/chemical drums, wastes containing asbestos, and other hazardous materials. • The contractor will provide spill cleanup and emergency response services, including transportation and disposal of hazardous materials. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the City's ordinances and regulations regarding Equal Employment Opportunity. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and submit a completed and signed IRS Form W-9.
