Sources Sought - Ft. Rucker Shredding Services

The U.S. Army is seeking sources for shredding and document disposal services at the Lyster Army Health Clinic (LAHC) on site at Ft. Rucker, AL. The contractor will provide 27 95-gallon containers with locks and a 3-inch by 12-inch opening for placing confidential documents. The containers will be picked up from the LAHC Warehouse and shredded on site in the loading dock parking lot on the first Thursday of every month. The contractor must be capable of handling small items such as staples, paper clips, and glue bound manuals. The contractor must also provide a certificate of destruction upon completion of shredding. • The contractor must be certified in handling confidential government documents through the HIPAA of 1996. • The contractor must provide a copy of their employees' HIPAA Training Certificates. • The contractor must enroll in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) to access the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. • The contractor must provide a destruction certificate to the COR/Environmental Services upon completion of shredding. • The contractor must remove and dispose of shredded material when the task is completed.
