The State of Maine Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive snow and ice removal services for the West Bath District Court facility. The contract covers driveway, parking lot, walkway, ramp, and entrance clearing, with strict timelines for removal after snowfall, mandatory equipment and staffing levels, and the provision of appropriate de‑icing materials. The initial performance period runs from November 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, with two optional two‑year renewal periods extending the total possible contract length to five years.
• Must clear snow on workdays by 7:00 a.m. and within 12 hours after weekend/holiday storms; full‑pile removal within 24 hours after blizzards.
• Requires on‑site hand‑crew, specific snow‑moving equipment (plow truck, loader, sanders, rotary broom, etc.) and backup equipment at all times.
• Vendor must supply approved salt‑mix, maintain on‑site sand/ salt pails, handle disposal at DEP‑approved sites, and perform spring cleanup and reseeding.
