City Yard Diesel Fuel Recovery Project

The City of Winston-Salem is seeking a qualified professional engineering or licensed geological firm to provide environmental services for the subsurface remediation of diesel fuel at 654 City Yard Drive in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The selected firm will be expected to complete quarterly diesel fuel recovery events and perform an annual groundwater sampling event. The firm will also serve as the City's official liaison for this project. The project involves the remediation of diesel-contaminated soil and groundwater, and the selected firm will be required to submit quarterly free product recovery reports and an annual groundwater monitoring report to the NCDEQ. • The project requires the selected firm to have experience in environmental remediation services, including the level of experience in working with municipalities. • The firm must have knowledge of applicable North Carolina Division Waste Management's guidelines. • The firm must have a good ethical and professional standing. • The firm must have the financial ability to undertake the work and assume full liability. • The firm must comply with the City's Non-Discrimination Policy and the City's Ethics Policy. • The firm must provide proof of Professional Liability insurance coverage in the minimum amount of $1,000,000.00 per claim.
