Description
The Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMNAVSURFPAC) intends to award a sole source contract to Cox Communications for commercial cable television (CATV) and broadband internet modem services at Naval Amphibious Base (NAB) Coronado, Buildings 11 and 14. The contract will have a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to perform the installation and maintenance of these commercial telecommunications services.
The key requirements of the contract include:
• Maintaining the current active services, which encompass 30 "News and Finance TV Service" CATV boxes at Bldg 14 and 15 at Bldg 11.
• Installing, provisioning, and activating eight new CATV services/boxes configured with the "News and Finance TV Service" package.
• Providing commercial broadband internet modem services with specific download and upload speeds.
• Ensuring uninterrupted service except during scheduled maintenance windows approved by the Government.
