On-Call Arborist Services

The Douglas County Community Development is seeking bids for on-call arborist services, including pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, hedge trimming, and winter tree watering at buildings, parks, and trailheads throughout Douglas County. The initial contract period is one year, with the option to renew for two additional periods of one year each. The contractor will be required to provide licensed, certified arborists and a competent superintendent. The contractor will also be responsible for any damage to the work area and must ensure proper cleanup of the work area. • The contractor must respond to emergency situations within one hour. • The contractor must provide equipment, including a 92' knuckle boom with remote control grapple, grapple crane loader and truck, 13" to 15" chipper, brush truck, and bucket truck with aerial lift. • The contractor must maintain insurance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes.
