Description
The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the installation of eight Stormtite Model 620 powered roll-up doors to enclose four equipment bays. The project requires a mandatory site visit and pre-bid meeting. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in the type of business being requested and must be authorized to do business in the State of Florida. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The project duration is approximately 79 days, and the contractor must complete all work by June 1, 2026.
• The contractor must provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project.
• The contractor must have a business operating license for the State of Florida and a General Contractors license or a builder’s license.
• The contractor must supply all material, equipment, parts, supplies, tools, testing, labor, and supervision needed to complete the work.
• The contractor must maintain a proper dress code and ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with FDOT policies and procedures regarding discrimination, sexual harassment, and violence in the workplace.
