The Palm Beach County Public Safety Department is seeking information from qualified vendors for a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) interoperability solution. The solution should enable secure, real-time, bi-directional exchange of public safety incident and geospatial data between disparate CAD systems, while enhancing interoperability, supporting Continuity of Operations (COOP), and aligning with Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG911) initiatives. The key objectives of this RFI are to enable real-time CAD-to-CAD data exchange, eliminate manual re-entry of transferred calls, improve mutual aid coordination, enhance GIS situational awareness, and support COOP.
• The solution should include software, integration, and support for a CAD-to-CAD interoperability solution.
• The solution should be able to integrate with various CAD platforms, including Motorola PremierOne, CentralSquare OneSolution, and Hexagon OnCall.
• The solution should meet specific technical requirements, including cloud/on-prem/hybrid architecture, high availability, scalability, and no single point of failure.
• The solution should also meet specific standards compliance requirements, including National Emergency Number Association (NENA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO).
