Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the RFB-263-26 KYTC - Central & Eastern KY Roof Projects. The project involves re-roofing three buildings in two different districts with a PVC membrane, new gutters, downspouts, and accessories. The existing roofs are primarily architectural profile metal with gutters and downspouts. A portion of the roof in Elizabethtown is PVC flat roof and being replaced to match existing. The project is anticipated to extend the usable life of the buildings and maintain weather resistance.
* The project is comprised of three different buildings on three different sites in two different districts.
* The buildings are all double pitched roofs and have a small addition onto their long sides with a lower roof, which are not being re-covered.
* All of the buildings are a single footprint.
* A site visit is scheduled for the project, and interested contractors are encouraged to attend.
* The project requires electronic bid submission through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system.
