Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a 16 MP EUV vacuum flanged camera for EUV ptychographic reflectometry. The camera must meet specific technical specifications, including a back-illuminated charge-coupled device (CCD) sensor, high quantum efficiency, low noise, and high dynamic range. The camera must also be compatible with high-vacuum or better and have a communication interface of USB or Ethernet. Key features and requirements include: • High quantum efficiency greater than 60% for photon energies between 30 eV and 90 eV • Low noise and high dynamic range • Back-illuminated CCD sensor • Compatibility with high-vacuum or better • USB or Ethernet communication interface • Software drivers for LabVIEW • Custom, unproven products will not be considered Respondents should provide information on their company, equipment, and capabilities to meet the government's requirements, including technical specifications, performance capabilities, and pricing information.

Budget estimate

$250,000 – $450,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the notice does not provide a specific budget or pricing information. However, based on the technical specifications and requirements, it is likely that the camera system will be a high-end, specialized piece of equipment. The cost of similar camera systems can range from $50,000 to $500,000 or more, depending on the specific features and capabilities. Given the requirements for high quantum efficiency, low noise, and high dynamic range, it is likely that the camera system will be on the higher end of this range, potentially between $200,000 to $400,000. Additionally, the notice mentions that the vendor must provide a complete software package, which may add to the overall cost. Therefore, a rough estimate for the budget could be between $250,000 to $450,000.
