Sale of Surplus Buses

Loudoun County Public Schools is requesting bids for the sale of surplus buses. The buses are being sold on an "as is, where is" basis, and the buyer will be responsible for removing the vehicles from the storage site. The buses can be viewed by appointment only, and the buyer must submit their bid through the LCPS Electronic Bidding System. The contract period will be from the date of award until completion of the project as approved by LCPS. • The buses are not in service and may have corrosion due to outdoor storage. • The buyer must remove the buses from the storage site within 7 calendar days of award, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. • The buyer must pay for the buses in full by Money Order, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check. • The buyer must indemnify and hold harmless the seller from any claims or costs that may arise out of the sale or use of the buses.
