The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information from qualified sources to perform Path and Lab Services at the Lt Col Luke Weathers, Jr VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The services required include providing a full range of pathology and laboratory services in a private hospital, office, or clinic environment to Veterans. The contractor will provide various path and lab staff, including daytime, evening, weekend, and federal holiday coverage. The services include, but are not limited to, cytopreparation technicians, medical technologists, pathologists' assistants, phlebotomists, and medical transcriptionists. Some key points to consider: * The period of performance is projected to be for a base period of one year with an additional four one-year option periods, subject to change. * The contractor shall provide services in accordance with VA policies and procedures and the regulations of the medical staff by-laws of the facility. * The contractor shall provide a detailed explanation of the circumstances necessitating any proposed substitutions of key personnel. * The contractor shall ensure the security of all procured or developed information systems throughout the life of the contract.
