Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide medical gas maintenance and repair services for the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on medical gas systems, vacuum pumps, compressors, and associated components. The contract will be for a base period of one year, with four option years. The contractor must be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and must meet certain qualifications, including having a current OSHA 30 certification and at least 3 years of experience performing work in similar size and scope.
• The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and transportation to perform the required services.
• The contractor will perform preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs.
• The contractor will provide a written inspection report for each piece of equipment and maintain a maintenance log.
• The contractor will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including NFPA 99 and OSHA regulations.
