Sources Sought - Catholic Priest Services

The 18th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing Catholic Priest services in support of the Religious Support Program at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. The contractor will provide Catholic chaplain services, including conducting Roman Catholic Mass, confessions, and other sacramental ministrations. The contractor must be an ordained Roman Catholic priest, be in good standing with the Archdiocese for the Military Services, and be able to conduct Mass and Sacramental Rites in the English language. Some key responsibilities and requirements include: • Providing weekend Masses, special Masses, and sacraments such as confessions, baptisms, and weddings • Maintaining liaison with the Kadena Air Base Catholic chaplain before, during, and after all services • Being accessible to respond to Catholic sick-call requiring the services of a Roman Catholic priest • Providing pastoral counseling and conducting conferences as needed • Complying with Japanese Road Laws and obtaining required insurance • Cooperating with government personnel in accident reporting and investigation
