Description
Erie County’s Department for the Aging is seeking qualified vendors to deliver comprehensive Social Adult Day Program services and Out‑of‑Home Respite care for caregivers enrolled in the County’s Aging Caregiver Services Program. The contract covers a three‑year period (Oct 1 2026‑Sep 30 2029) with two optional one‑year extensions. Providers must be located in Erie County, able to accept Department referrals, and capable of beginning respite services within 30 days of a referral. Pricing is to be submitted as daily‑rate proposals (half‑day and full‑day) and is not tied to Medicaid rates. The solicitation includes optional ancillary services such as transportation, meals/snacks, and bathing. Vendors must submit a signed hard‑copy proposal plus an electronic copy, a separate sealed cost envelope, insurance certificates, and applicable certifications (MBE/WBE, SDVOB, veteran‑owned). Evaluation will consider capability, staff qualifications, past performance, financial capacity, price, and small‑business status.
