Description
The Iowa Department of Public Defense is seeking a service provider to provide lawn maintenance and weed spraying services at the West Des Moines Readiness Center. The contract will be for a term of 3 years, with the possibility of a 3-year renewal. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the services. The contractor must also provide a certificate of insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability coverage. The selection of the contractor will be based on the lowest priced bid, with preference given to Iowa businesses in the event of a tie.
• The services will include regular mowing and weed spraying during the mowing season (April 15th to October 31st).
• The contractor will be required to upload all bid documents to IMPACS.
• The contractor must comply with the terms and conditions of the RFQ and the General Terms and Conditions.
• The contractor must provide any additional paperwork or documentation to the State Issuing Officer within ten calendar days of request.
• The selected contractor must enter into a written contract with the Agency within thirty calendar days after receiving Notice of Award.
