Sapporo Gardening Services Contract

The U.S. Consulate General Sapporo is seeking a contractor to provide gardening services for its real property. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the grass, shrubbery, garden areas, trees, and related landscape elements. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with four one-year options to renew. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform the work. • The contractor will be required to maintain the height of grass between 4 and 6 centimeters. • The contractor will be responsible for edging, trimming, and weeding the grounds and gardens. • The contractor will be required to water lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees to provide for moisture penetration to a depth of 7 centimeters. • The contractor will be responsible for fertilizing and liming the soil to promote proper health, growth, color, and appearance of cultivated vegetation. • The contractor will be required to remove foreign material, cuttings, grass, leaves, bark, limbs, dead vegetation, paper, and trash from the maintained areas.
