Description
The City of Monroe is seeking a consultant with experience in grant writing and administration to assist with federally funded projects related to community and economic development. The selected firm will provide services including grant writing, grant administration, and related services for projects utilizing federal funds. The immediate project involves water and sewer infrastructure improvements and housing components. The firm should have experience with federal funds grant writing and administration, including HUD, EDA, and other agencies. The proposal should include information such as the firm's history and resources, key personnel, current workload, scope of service proposed, experience with similar projects, and fees associated with grant writing and administration.
• Grant writing and administration services for federally funded projects
• Experience with federal funds grant writing and administration, including HUD, EDA, and other agencies
• Services including preparation of grant applications, environmental review records, and draw/disbursement requests
• Assistance with financial administration of grant funds, record keeping, and public hearings
• Compliance with federal and state contract provisions, including Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968
