Cellular Meter - AMRI Upgrade

The Seminole County Utilities Department is seeking a vendor to replace existing manual read or drive-by meter reading systems with cellular AMRI meter reading units. The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, parts, and materials to complete the requested work. The scope of services includes replacement of existing small meters, antenna, and backflow devices, as well as testing existing meters in-place. The vendor must have experience with meter replacement and installation, and must be able to provide a project manager and quality control manager. The contract will be for a period of 180 days, and the vendor will be responsible for all leaks and related damage during this time. Some key points to consider: • The vendor must have a minimum of 5,000 meter per year replacement experience. • The vendor must have experience with similar projects, including at least two large meter replacement projects. • The vendor must be able to provide all necessary equipment and materials, including meter boxes and lids. • The vendor must be able to perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
