Community Health Worker (CHW) Curriculum Designer

The County of Riverside is seeking a Community Health Worker (CHW) Curriculum Designer to develop a comprehensive CHW certificate training curriculum. The curriculum should be designed to meet the needs of CHWs working in the County of Riverside and should align with national CHW C3 core competencies. The designer will be responsible for creating core and specialized content, integrating adult learning principles, and participating in CHW curriculum advisory meetings. The project is expected to last for 6 months, with the option to extend through May 31, 2027. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and developing a comprehensive CHW training curriculum • Creating instructor guides and facilitation notes • Participating in CHW curriculum advisory meetings • Conducting ongoing review, revision, and refinement of curriculum materials • Compiling and submitting a final report along with all program deliverables upon completion of the project The County of Riverside is looking for a vendor who can provide high-quality instructional design services and has experience in the CHW/Promotor(a)/Representative field.
