Floor Operated Overhead Crane Training

The Los Angeles County Public Works is seeking proposals for Floor Operated Overhead Crane Training. The training will be for approximately 180 Public Works employees and will consist of 6 hours of training, including 4 hours of classroom training and 2 hours of practical hands-on training. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing the training curriculum, manuals, and equipment, as well as conducting the site visit and providing a demonstration of the training. The vendor must have at least 5 years of experience in conducting professional safety training and have thorough knowledge of the "Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training". • The training will cover topics such as regulations, general requirements, pre-operation inspection, operation requirements, and emergency procedures. • The vendor must provide a comprehensive table of contents, a letter of transmittal, and a description of their capabilities and experience. • The vendor must also provide resumes and certificates of all trainers associated with the solicitation, as well as a detailed training curriculum and outline. • The vendor must have a minimum of $2,000,000 in general liability insurance and $1,000,000 in automobile liability insurance.
