Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to provide elevator maintenance and inspection services for a single hydraulic passenger elevator located at the NRM Office/Illinois Waterway Visitor Center in Illinois. The contract will include quarterly maintenance visits, flood inspections, and cleaning. The contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in commercial elevator maintenance and provide qualified personnel with industry certifications. The contract will be for a base period of less than 12 months, with four option periods of 12 months each.
• The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to ensure the safe operation of the elevator.
• The contractor must meet all applicable State of Illinois safety regulations.
• The contractor must provide a fixed unit price for each service.
• The contractor must have the capability to respond to emergency calls and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• The contractor must provide a schedule of fully burdened labor rates for the base period and each option period.
