Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified vendor to provide maintenance services for its Kantech access control system installed at the Motor Pool Gate of the Alabama Department of Environmental Management. The work covers preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for the duration of the contract period, ensuring the gate remains operational and secure.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of Kantech access control hardware and software.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot any system failures or malfunctions, providing on‑site repairs or remote support as needed.
• Supply any required replacement parts, firmware updates, and documentation to keep the system compliant with state security standards.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities, service reports, and parts used for audit and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with the agency’s facilities staff to schedule work that minimizes disruption to gate operations.
