Y1DA--652-22-704 WIFI NextGen Upgrades

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to install conduit and CAT 6 cabling for 39 WiFi locations at the Richmond VAMC. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the project. The project includes installing conduit and CAT 6 cabling in various areas, including the lower level, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 4th floor, and 5th floor, as well as in trailers 507E, 516, and 517. The contractor must comply with all applicable VA Master Construction Specifications, Technical Information Library (TIL), and other applicable standards and regulations. Some key aspects of the project include: • Installing conduit and CAT 6 cabling for 39 WiFi locations • Coordinating with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for finish information • Performing all work in accordance with federal, state, and local codes, statutes, and regulations • Maintaining building life safety standards and complying with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) permit requirements • Providing submittals and samples for all finished materials • Ensuring all construction barriers are maintained in a clean and safe manner • Coordinating with the COR for waste removal and disposing of waste in accordance with VA specifications
