On-Site Inmate Laundry Sanitation Services

The County of Lexington is seeking a vendor to provide on‑site laundry sanitation services for its inmate population. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all inmate‑generated laundry is cleaned, disinfected, and returned in a timely and compliant manner, adhering to health‑and‑safety standards required for correctional facilities. This contract will cover routine sanitation, chemical handling, equipment maintenance, and reporting of service metrics. • Perform daily collection, washing, disinfection, and redistribution of inmate laundry on‑site. • Supply and manage all necessary cleaning agents, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). • Maintain compliance with state correctional health regulations and provide regular performance reports to the county.
