Behavioral Health Anti-Ligature Furniture for Alexandria LA VAMC

The required items include 40 armless guest chairs and 6 round café tables with 48-inch diameter tops. The furniture must be designed to eliminate or mitigate ligature points and weaponization risks, and must meet performance standards for commercial healthcare and infection-control cleanability. The contractor must provide a commercial warranty and ensure that the furniture is delivered within 60 calendar days after contract award. * The furniture must be suitable for 24/7 inpatient use and must comply with commercial/contract furniture norms. * The chairs must be armless and have a minimum weight of 50 lb. * The tables must have a durable, cleanable surface with sealed edges and an enclosed base with integrated ballast. * The furniture must be made of non-porous surfaces and have sealed seams to prevent the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms. * The contractor must provide photographic evidence of proposed color schemes and finish options that meet the neutral/earth-tone requirement.
