Emergency Equipment Installation/Upfitting for Police Vehicles

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals from licensed, insured, and qualified vendors to provide emergency equipment and professional installation/upfitting services for current Department vehicle fleet vehicles. The vendor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to provide emergency vehicle equipment and to install said equipment in Department vehicles. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: lighting, siren/amplifier systems, public address systems, mobile data terminals, in-vehicle video systems, wiring harnesses, console/partition installation, radio and antenna installation, and any required vehicle programming or electrical system modifications. • The City intends to select one vendor to supply parts, labor, warranty support, and ongoing maintenance/repair options for equipment installed under this contract. • The contract will remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from the bid award date, with the option to renew for an additional two (2) twelve-month periods. • The vendor must provide warranty information for parts and labor at no cost to the city, with a minimum warranty of one (1) year on parts and labor. • The vendor must be willing to accept delivery from the dealership/factory straight to the vendor's facility at no cost to the city. • The vendor must provide a secure parking lot/facility for the vehicles to be housed/stationed for in-progress vehicles and vehicles awaiting installs.
