Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Martinsburg VA Medical Center, intends to award a single-source purchase order to DIRECTV for the continued provision of cable television services supporting patient care rooms, waiting areas, and designated business locations. The services required include approximately 390 patient television connections, 56 business television connections, and continuous 24/7/365 service availability with programming for patient comfort, satisfaction, and therapeutic care.
• The incumbent provider, DIRECTV, has an established and fully integrated satellite distribution system throughout the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.
• The period of performance shall be for one base year period, with four optional years.
• The Government anticipates the Independent Cost Estimate shall be developed and comparable with the current incumbent to justify fair and reasonable pricing.
