Executive Leadership Training for Women Facilities

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a contractor to provide specialized training to newly appointed executive leadership within FBOP correctional facilities exclusively housing women. The training program should be comprehensive, trauma-informed, and responsive to women's needs for executive leadership. The contractor will be required to develop and deliver a customized curriculum that addresses principles designed for incarcerated women and trauma-informed correctional communication and management leadership strategies. The training will be provided once per fiscal year, and the contractor will be required to provide progress updates and evaluations to the COR. Some key areas that the training curriculum will cover include: • Understanding responsiveness to the needs of women • Trauma-informed communication • Trauma-informed leadership strategies • Building a culture of safety • Data-informed leadership • Cultural considerations and special populations The contractor will be required to have experience and knowledge of the FBOP programs and policies, including the implementation of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) standards. The contractor will also be required to demonstrate experience training high-level employees, such as Associate Wardens, Wardens, Regional Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors, etc.
