Electronic Waste Recycling Services

The County of Alameda is seeking a contractor to provide electronic waste recycling services. The contractor will be responsible for picking up electronic waste from the County's warehouse site and recycling it. The contract term will be three years with an option to renew for an additional two years. The contractor must be a Responsible Recycling (R2) certified electronics recycler and have been in business for at least three years. • The contractor must provide dedicated support staff to be the primary contact for all issues regarding the contract. • The contractor must provide a dedicated account manager who will be responsible for the County account. • The contractor must comply with all state, federal, and local laws and regulations pertaining to electronic waste recycling. • The contractor must utilize a computerized system to generate receipts for pick up and or County drop off and provide reports regarding electronic waste recycling services.
