The U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Diego is seeking a qualified contractor to renovate the 1,066 sq ft recreation room in Tracy Hall (Building C) of its Unaccompanied Personnel Housing. The work includes complete demolition and replacement of the kitchen, janitorial closet, and bathroom using commercial‑grade prefabricated fixtures, while complying with strict asbestos‑contamination controls (no disturbance of identified ACM). The contract is set‑aside for small businesses, subject to Davis‑Bacon prevailing‑wage rules, and must be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed.
• Scope: new high‑durability wood cabinets, granite or butcher‑block countertops, commercial ice machine, prefabricated island, exhaust fan, lockable storage, GFI upgrades, adjustable wire shelving, plumbing clean‑out, mold‑resistant bathroom finishes, new 36‑in. vanity.
• Constraints: Asbestos present in ceiling drywall; contractor may not cut/drill/sand the ACM ceiling and must follow a detailed Activity Hazard Analysis.
• Requirements: Provide product data sheets, samples, safety plans, technical plan, past performance, licensing, and detailed pricing.
