Description
Caltrans is seeking up to two qualified title and escrow firms to provide on‑call, as‑needed services for property acquisitions supporting future state highway projects in Yuba and Sutter Counties. The work will be performed under an indefinite‑delivery framework, with individual assignments issued as projects arise over an estimated five‑year contract period. Bidders must hold a current Title and Escrow license from the California Department of Insurance and meet all standard Caltrans procurement qualifications.
• Provide preliminary title reports, detailed title searches, and title‑insurance policies for both residential and commercial transactions.
• Perform escrow closings, reconveyances (partial/full), and related documentation, with Caltrans covering reasonable third‑party fees up to $1,000 per deed.
• Deliver all reports and documents electronically within 30 days of request, and submit invoices that include required small‑business and DVBE utilization data.
