Description
East Lansing Public Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to design, supply, and install large‑venue audio‑visual systems for the high‑school auditorium and gymnasium. The scope includes purchase of multimedia equipment, wiring, speaker and amplifier installation, control‑system integration, and full system testing. Bidders must submit a sealed bid by October 7, 2026 and provide a 5 % bid bond. The project will be performed at East Lansing High School (509 Burcham Drive, East Lansing, MI 48823). The Owner may award the contract in whole or in part and expects the contractor to commence work within ten days of receiving a purchase order and to complete installation according to the schedule established after award.
• Install new AV‑riser systems for auditorium (first‑ and second‑floor) and gym (first‑ and second‑floor).
• Provide all required hardware (speakers, amplifiers, mixers, control panels, networking, cabling, mounts).
• Integrate with existing Q‑SYS control infrastructure and school network.
• Perform site‑specific acoustic modeling (EASE reports already provided).
• Deliver testing, commissioning, and training for school staff.
• Provide performance and payment bonds, insurance, and comply with Michigan prevailing‑wage rules.
