Description
The Town of Severn, North Carolina, is seeking qualified firms to provide engineering, landscape architecture, and related comprehensive design and construction administration services for the Town of Severn Town Park. The project involves designing various improvements to the existing park, including upgrading playground equipment, resurfacing the basketball court, and providing ADA accessibility. The selected firm will be responsible for design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases. The project is funded using Community Development Block Grant – Neighborhood Revitalization funds.
• The scope of work includes preparing project plans and specifications, assisting with CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization funding requirements, surveying services, and construction administration.
• The project requires experience with NC Commerce or US Housing and Urban Development projects and with projects funded by governmental grants.
• The selected firm will be required to comply with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and requirements.
• The project timeline includes a deadline for respondent questions on May 21, 2026, and a proposal submission deadline on June 8, 2026.
• The anticipated contract negotiation and award will be prior to June 30, 2026.
