Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking quotes for the replacement of two central section sump pumps at Hoover Dam. The pumps must be interchangeable with the currently installed sump pumps and have specific characteristics, including a 16HH single stage vertical turbine pump assembly, a 1.5" head shaft assembly, and a 2300 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 150 HP motor. The pumps must also meet certain performance requirements, including a flow rate of 5000 GPM and a head of 60 ft. The contractor will be responsible for supplying the pump assemblies, and the government will install them. The delivery of the pumps is expected to be completed within approximately 6 months of the date of award.
