Description
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate and award a contract for a Maintenance / Service Agreement for the 5600+ Triple TOF Mass Spectrometer and associated software. The contract is intended to assure the instrument is in working order and provide technical support. The 5600+ TripleTOF Mass Spectrometer is a highly technical instrument that requires expert service engineers for maintenance and service.
• The instrument is mission critical and heavily used by researchers to perform mass spectrometric analysis of protein, peptides, and other small molecules.
• Preventative maintenance and expert repair coverage assures optimum and efficient performance.
• The contract will be awarded without providing for full and open competition.
