Description
The Department of State Hospitals is seeking bids for portable tank rentals and exchanges for the soft water systems located on the north-east side of the Steam Plant and the New Main Kitchen. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, prevailing wages, insurance, and personnel to perform the work. The term of the agreement is anticipated to be July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028.
• The contractor must have a minimum of five years' experience performing work of this type.
• The contractor must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including commercial general liability, pollution liability, motor vehicle liability, professional liability, performance bond, and payment bond.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable State and Federal regulations.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory bidder's conference on February 18, 2026.
• The contractor must submit all required documents, including a bid submission checklist, minimum qualifications response, and insurance certifications.
