Request For Information Accounting Instructors

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is seeking accounting instructors to teach the FDIC Fundamentals of Accounting course. The course is offered virtually using the Microsoft Teams platform and covers Chapters 1-5 of the Intermediate Accounting textbook and the complete Accounting Fundamentals Study Guide with Supplemental Materials. The instructor will provide whole group, instructor-led instruction and be available to answer students' questions. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Accounting, excellent communication skills, and experience instructing accounting for adult learners. • The course is offered virtually using the Microsoft Teams platform. • The instructor will provide whole group, instructor-led instruction of Chapters 1-5 of the Intermediate Accounting textbook. • The instructor will be available to answer students' questions from 8am-5pm EST, Monday through Friday. • The course demand is directly related to the volume of hiring in a given year, with 5-10 offerings projected for 2027. • The number of students may range from 5 to 28 per session.
