Description
The Department of War (DoW) intends to exercise a sole-source option under an existing contract to provide sustaining engineering services for the AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) system and AN/ALQ-131 ECM system hardware. The services include software support, hardware sustainment, and specialized engineering support. The period of performance for this option is from 7 June 2026 to 6 June 2027.
• The requirement encompasses AN/ALQ-184 ECM software support, including Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) testing, Operational Flight Program (OFP) support, code/documentation reviews, and test tool updates.
• The hardware sustainment includes specialized engineering support for system-level deficiency analysis, obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing source (DMS) resolution at the component/Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) level, lab test support, and continued support for the Electronic Warfare Avionics Integration Support Facility (EWAISF).
• The incumbent contractor, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, is the only contractor capable of providing performance at the level of quality required for these highly complex ECM systems.
