J065--Notice of Intent to Sole Source Medtronic O-arm and S8 Service

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to negotiate a sole source award to Medtronic, INC. to provide Corrective and Preventative Maintenance Support Service for Medtronic O-arm O2, S8 with EM, and S8 Planning Station at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for providing maintenance, repair, and support services to ensure the equipment is functioning properly. The contract will have a base year and an option year, with the possibility of extension. • The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for the Medtronic O-arm O2, S8 with EM, and S8 Planning Station. • The contractor will provide technical telephone support 24/7/365. • The contractor will provide remote support on the covered products. • The contractor will provide planned maintenance as defined in the system manual. • The contractor will provide software maintenance releases and upgrade releases at no charge to the customer.
