Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services for FY 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project(s)

The Town of Summit, Mississippi, is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for the implementation of approved FY 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project(s). The selected engineer will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates, preliminary design documents, and providing all engineering services through project closeout. The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and contract execution, and performing construction inspection. The Town encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs), Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs), and Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The engineer will provide services for the implementation of CDBG project(s) • The scope of work includes preparing plans and specifications, distributing bid documents, and performing construction inspection • The Town encourages MBEs, WBEs, and Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals • Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance • The contract will be awarded to the firm with the highest number of cumulative points issued by the selection committee
