TWO YEAR CONTRACT TO PROVIDE WRECKER SERVICES ON AN AS NEEDED BASIS F

The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for a two-year contract to provide wrecker services as needed for the East and West Bank Department of Fleet Management. The wrecker service will be responsible for pulling drive shafts and axles when needed to prevent damage to other components of the drive train system. The service must have wreckers capable of handling any vehicle or road equipment that is part of the Parish Fleet. • The contract will be for a period of two years. • The wrecker service must have a large enough fleet of wreckers to accommodate the wrecker needs of Jefferson Parish without delays. • The service must be available 24/7, including holidays, with a response time of one hour or less. • The bidder must possess a wrecker large enough to haul 100-foot ladder Fire Department trucks and Sewerage Vac-con trucks. • The bidder must have a Louisiana State Contractor’s License. • The bidder must comply with all insurance requirements, including commercial general liability, business automobile liability, and worker’s compensation insurance.
