Description

The City of Arlington is seeking bids for the dredging of approximately 11,145 cubic yards of sediment from the Green Oaks Boulevard Pond. The project includes hydraulic dredging and dewatering of the dredged material. The contractor will be required to submit a bid that includes all necessary plans, specifications, and documentation. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project is expected to start approximately two months after the bid opening date. • The project requires the contractor to dredge the pond using hydraulic dredging methods and dewater the dredged material using mechanical dewatering methods. • The contractor must submit a traffic control plan, sequencing plan, SWPPP, and a plan for sediment removal and hauling prior to construction. • The contractor must adhere to normal working hours (7 AM to 6 PM) and avoid stockpiling excess material on site. • The city has obtained a temporary access agreement from Oncor that will allow the contractor to perform the work. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
