Water Reclamation Facility Primary Clarifier #1 Coating Services CIP # 42504

The City of Placerville is seeking proposals for the Water Reclamation Facility Primary Clarifier #1 Coating Services. The project involves removing the existing coating and applying a new coating to the primary clarifier tank. The work includes mobilization, preparation, and application of the coating to the concrete bottom, sides, and launders, as well as preparation and application of the coating to all steel/mechanical components. The project must be completed within 30 days. Key aspects of the project include: • Sandblasting and/or chemical removal of the existing coating • Surface preparation of the concrete and steel substrates • Application of a new coating to the tank and its components • Reinstallation and balancing of clarifier weirs post-coating The City encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises to submit bids. The contract will be awarded to the best responsive and responsible bidder.
